Genocides in History

        Law has ethics and these ethics are protecting nations. Some international organizations also protect these ethics. Genocide is killing some group of people for their country, ethnicity, or religion. According to the Geneva Conventions, genocide is a war crime, and people or states who committed war crimes will punished by international organizations like the UN. Unfortunately, there have been some genocides in history. The most known genocides are the Holocaust, the Khojaly massacre, and the Srebrenica massacre.         Firstly, the Holocaust is a very bloodful genocide in history. People were working for no payment. People were dying for no reason. The only reason they lived in this situation is their nationality. Rules of War According to Geneva Conventions

  People might have different ideas from the beginning and sometimes this situation cause s some bad results like wars. Every side in the war has their excuses for what they have done. Because of this, humanity needed some international war rules to stop poss ibl e war crimes . This is how  the Firs t Geneva Convention came out. The First Geneva Convention hav e four main priorities and they are protecting civi lians, no tortun e for detainees, not attacking medical workers, and lastly saving warriors who were wounded, sick, and shipwrecked.   Firstly, war can not be against civilians according to the First Geneva Convention . In warfare , soldiers can not attack civilians like children and their mothers. Also, no one can not force someone to move somewhere else. It is prohibited and cannot be done.
