Genocides in History

Law has ethics and these ethics are protecting nations. Some international organizations also protect these ethics. Genocide is killing some group of people for their country, ethnicity, or religion. According to the Geneva Conventions, genocide is a war crime, and people or states who committed war crimes will punished by international organizations like the UN. Unfortunately, there have been some genocides in history. The most known genocides are the Holocaust, the Khojaly massacre, and the Srebrenica massacre.

Firstly, the Holocaust is a very bloodful genocide in history. People were working for no payment. People were dying for no reason. The only reason they lived in this situation is their nationality. This genocide was between Nazi Germany and European Jews.

Secondly, the Khojaly massacre is also a very bad genocide in Azerbaijan's history. Civilians were killed by Armenians in Khojaly province. The Death toll is not clear but according to the HRW, an international non-governmental organization that conducts research and advocacy on human rights, 500-1000 Azerbaijanis died. These numbers include women and children in it and this is very bad

Lastly, the Srebrenica massacre was one of the most gory genocide in European history. This genocide was against civilians who were from Bosnia. Serbians killed 8000+ Muslim Bosniaks for their religions. Targets were mostly men and children and some people are missing after 28 years.

As a consequence, people need to learn how to live each other with no hate. After all, there is continuing genocide in Palestine and no one can save them. Every person in the world needs to know they might be the next target for their nationality, ethnicity, or religion.
